Year after year, intelligent, strong and vivacious women from across India, are making their mark around the world in various field and areas, which are presumably meant for only men since ages. From astronauts to track and field athlete to fighting in battlefields- women are unstoppable in each and every aspect of life. Once, women are considered as only a homemaker and suppose to find solace in her family only. All her contributions and talents and efforts are only kept restricted to the four corners of her home only.
But now, as time progresses, with proper education and most importantly with lots of courage women are becoming “Nation Maker” as well. But this upliftment comes no easy. By twerking the famous line said to Spider-man from his uncle Ben, it can be said that “with great success, comes greatest barriers”. Women are facing and fighting barriers since ages; be it from their own family, their workplace, from the society and from the Nation as well, sometimes it actually feels like a “bed of roses” is lying all over just for welcoming and encouraging women for all her decisions about her own life. IRONY! Isn’t it?

Whoever manages to show the courage and walk through that “bed of roses”; become the guiding force to the other millions, who never gather the courage to do the same. The numbers are infinite. Practically if you ever carefully listen, you will find out that every woman has something to share, something to learn from and something to inspire others. But for the sake of brevity, here are 10 exceptional women from India, who have shown extreme courage to break the stereotype and make our nation proud.

The days are changing with every nook and turns. And it is the best time to show our daughters what a real woman can do. We don’t have to be like Cindrella, to be saved by a prince charming; or like Rapunzel, who is waiting for her “true love” in a distant tower, just to be saved; we need to become like Arunima or Tessy or Dipa, or Mita, who dare to dream their own and achieved everything they want for themselves. They are the true daughters of our nation.
