Dhaka has now turned into a hub of restaurants and is full of places to visit, given its golden history. 1.Malancha
The first and very iconic is the legendary Malancha restaurant of Dhaka. This is a typical Bengali restaurant in Dhaka, as suggested by the name. Morog-polao is a very special food of Bangladesh, specially served in marriage ceremonies or any other big family festivals. “Morog” is chicken, and “polao” is rice cooked in a special way. Morog-polao is specially cooked rice with a large portion of chicken, served with a special drink named “borhani”. This is a very delicious and famous food of Bangladesh.




4.Picasso 
Another great place to enjoy the food, nature and the view of Dhaka is Picasso Restaurant. Located on the Gulshan-Tejgaon Link Road, Picasso is a great place to spend quality time with your friends and family while enjoying a mesmerizing view of the city. 1.Ahsan Manzil
Ahsan Manzil is a beautiful pink palace with a golden history. It was built in 1872 by Nawab Abdul Ghani, Dhaka’s wealthiest landowner at the time. Nearly twenty years later, the palace was destroyed by a tornado. It was reconstructed by Lord Curzon but almost went to oblivion after his death. In the late 1980s, Ahsan Manzil was thoroughly restored to glory. Today, various family portraits and the skull of Nawab’s favorite elephant are on display.




2.Bhawal National Park
The reserved forest area is nearly 40 kilos away from Dhaka city, and is located in Gazipur under Dhaka division. The national park is renowned for its Sal tree. Here you would find peacocks, tiger, leopard, elephant, clouded leopard and sambar deer.




3.Jatiyo Sangsad Bhaban
Designed by American architect Louis Kahn, the Jatiyo Sangsad Bhaban is a worthy        monument in Dhaka. It is one of the largest legislative complexes in the world and houses all of Bangladesh’s parliamentary activities. The building was planned in the early 1960s, as the seat of the federal legislature of both West Pakistan and East Pakistan, but wasn’t built for another two decades as the War of Independence took its deadly toll. Kahn’s monumental design is visually stunning, both in scale and in location, as it rises from the mist of the surrounding lake, which was incorporated to evoke the place of the river in Bangladeshi society and history.





4. Lalbagh Fort
If anyone is fascinated by the great signature of the art of the Mughal Empire in Bangladesh, the Lalbagh Fort is the best place for him. The fort is most popular and renowned throughout the country. It is also known as Fort Aurangabad. The fort is situated by the bank of the river Buriganga in Lalbagh of old Dhaka.




5.Ramna Park
Ramna Park is perfect for those in need for a quick evening of solitude. With an area of nearly 70 acres, one of the oldest park of the country, Ramna is house to 71 species of flowering trees, shrubs, perennials, and annuals, 36 species of fruit-bearing plants, 33 species medicinal plants and 41 species of forestry and 11 other species, with a coiling lake beautifying its center.
