When we want to escape from our daily routine, we decide to change our environment. The easiest way to reach this goal is by traveling. We can go to another country or any exotic part of the world, in order to provide our mind with the intensive rest. We can meet new people and get to know another culture, architecture, animals, and plants. Moreover, we are able to travel to another climatic zone. Many experienced tourists have traveled so much that they are not satisfied with the well-known places of interest. They require something special and completely genuine. They are looking for fresh emotions and uncommon experience. The Valley of Flowers can be such a destination, which I will be talking about in this article today.



Kaas Plateau


Kaas Plateau Commonly known as Kaas Pathar situated 25 k.m away from Satara, and only 3 hours drive from Pune city. On 2012 Unesco declared it as A “ World Natural Heritage Site”.


With an area of 10 sq.km, The Valley has more than 850 different species of flowering plant. Some of the heavenly flowering plant like Impatiens Balfouri, Argyreia baseana, Habenaria longicorniculata , Hitchenia caulina ,Ceropegia vincaefolia , Pinda concanensis,Arisaema Murrayi , Asclapius curresavica, Habenaria grandifloriformis, Gloriosa superba, Cynotis Tuberosa ,Cyanotis Fasciculata, Murdannia Lanuginosa, Senecio Bombayensis and many more. Apart from those orchids bloom here for a period of 3–4 weeks during the season.
 The moment you entered the valley, It gives you a feeling like standing in the middle of the ocean of pretty, multicolored flowers and watch the fleecy, blue clouds right in the middle of Kaas Pathar. 


Time To Travel:-  During The Monsoon the plateaus and grassland turn into Valley Of Flower so the best time for the visit is between August to Early October.

Entry Fees And Other Important Information:-   The entry Fee charge is Rs. 100/- (No entry fee for children below 12yr old and Senior citizen). Please Note only 3000 people allowed per day from Morning 7am to evening 7p.m. You can Book online also. Booking is now closed, the next flowering  Season will be expected from Mid of August.

Other Attraction:-  Apart from  Plateau, There are few more tourist attractions like Kas Lake & Dak Bungalow,  Vasota Fort, Bhambawali Vajrai Waterfall.




Valley of Flowers National Park


Valley of Flowers National Park is known for its eternal scenic beauty with lea of endemic Himalayan flower and different other species of flora. Emerald mountain ranges, green meadows, and white clouds blend to create a Paradise called Valley of Flowers. Located In  Chamoli District in Uttarakhand, Valley Of Flowers National Park is like Heaven On Earth.  Situated on the backdrop of sublime Zanskar Ranges with a massive 87.5 sq. km land, This Area is Home of many rare, enchanted and majestic flowers like Himalayan Marsh Orchid, Brahma Kamal, Jacquemont’s Cobra Lily, Elegant Slipper Orchid, Yellow Cobra Lily, poppies, marigold, rhododendron, primulas, daisies and more. 


This splendidly diverse Area is also dwelling of many endangered animals like Asiatic Black Bear, Snow leopard, Blue Sheep, Brown Bear, Musk Deer.  

How To Reach:-  National Park is located 300 km north of Rishikesh close to Badrinath. By Road you can travel till Govindghat, from there you need to trek on Valley Of Flowers.

Time To Travel:-   July to October is the best time to visit the national park and is good for seeing the rare animals. August and September months are special for the spectacular and eye-catching blooming flowers. Avoid Visiting the Valley on December as it is hard to reach there for snowfall and roadblocks.


Entry Fees And Other Important Information: -  Entry fees for The National Park is Rs.150 for Indian National and Rs. 600 for foreign national. Opening time is 07:00 am in the morning and it allows till 02:00pm to enter the site. By 05:00 you need to leave the place, and need to reach the main gate by 6:30, as 07:00 pm is the closing time.

Other Attraction:-  Apart from National Park there are some travel attraction nearby. One of them is Hemkund Sahib. This is very famous and a Holy Place Sikh People. Every year thousands of devotees visit this place. 




Tulip Garden – Kashmir


Located in Zabarwan Range Srinagar, Tulip Garden is the Largest Tulip Garden in Asia.  This place is the perfect resemblance of the world famous Keukenhof Garden. Opened in 2007 to boost the tourism aspect of Jammu-Kashmir. In 2017 Tulip Summit In Canada, This place ranked on the top 5 Tulip Destination on Earth. 


With more than 40 types of Variety and Several lakhs of blooming flowers makes this place look exotic and divine.  Once You entered the Garden you will feel like a fairyland created by God’s intention. You will be fascinated by seeing numerous parallel running rows with more than Millions of multicolored Tulip.

If you are Nature lover or Flower enthusiasts this place is like a gold mine for you, there are many varieties of this astonishing flowers like Standard Tulips, Double Bloom, Parrot Tulips, Fringed Tulips, Single Late Tulips, Lily-Flowering Tulips and Many more.



Time To Visit:- It’s not open throughout the Year, So you need to plan very carefully. Tulip Festivals Hosted in Kashmir Valley during the Spring Time. Mostly it began at the end of March.

Nearby Attraction:- There are plenty of nearby attractions such As Dal Lake, Mughal Garden, Shankaracharya Temple, Hazrat Bal, Shalimar Bagh.



Dzükou Valley

Located On the Border of Nagaland and Manipur, Dzukou Valley sits high among the clouds. If you ever wonder how Heaven looks like, Well it couldn’t look better than This Valley.


This valley is known for its Heavenly Scenic beauty, rare Dzukou Lily which can only found here and the wide range of other rare mountain flowers.
Situated 30km south of Kohima, at height of 2400 meter with an area of 24 sq Km. From Kohima one can travel through Taxi or rented Car till Viswema Village, From there you need trek to Reach on Dzukou Valley.
To Visit this place you need to take permission from Nagaland House.


Famous for its multicolor carpet of flowers, lush greenery, amazing flowers, the fast passing rivulet of crystal clear water, the tune of the cooing birds and deep forest. It’s a lifetime experience for the traveler.
First two weeks of July is Best Time to visit. The Dzukou Lily began to bloom during the monsoon.


Entry fees ar very Nominal, Rs.50 for Indian citizen and 100 for foreign National.
