will be Prinsep Ghat (Outram Ghat).
“Prinsep
Ghats is built in 1841 during the
British Raj, along the Kolkata bank of the Hooghly River in India. The
Palladian porch in the memory of the eminent Anglo-Indian scholar and antiquary
James Prinsep was designed by W. Fitzgerald and constructed in 1843” source Wikipedia . Undoubtedly the most romantic place
in Kolkata.
Sitting hand in hand with your partner with a flowers in one hand, which you can get from local florist in Kolkata on the banks of Hooghly river and witnessing the beautiful sunset……. sounds romantic enough, isn’t it? Here, in the Prinsep Ghat you actually will get all these followed by the majestic view of the Vidyasagar Setu (2nd Hooghly bridge) across the river Ganga. Basically, the view of the bridge adds little more essence into it.
